Hello everyone!

I would like to sell this brooch on Etsy or on Ebay but I am not sure if it is in fact an unsigned Myriam Haskell piece and if so, how much it is worth Huh.  Any opinions are welcome Smiley  Thanks in advance and have a great day Cool!

Hi Ines!  Sorry I don't know personally but can I posted it to the Jewelry Ring group for you and see if they know?

Are you a member there already?

Hi Helen,

Thanks for offering to post it to the Jewelry Ring, that would be really kind of you to do for me.  I'm not familiar with this site but it sounds like it may be a good place to find an answer Smiley  Fingers crossed someone there will have some insight...

Cheers,

The Jewelry Ring is the most helpful group of jewelry collectors and sellers I have ever met.  Their depth of knowledge and patience in sharing information never ceases to amaze me. Smiley

If you buy, sell or collect vintage jewelry, I would recommend them.  They are a busy group so be warned, it generates alot of email.  If this concerns you, you can choose the digest version or set up rules in outlook to filter the mail to a certain folder.

I will post your question in the meantime!

Hello - Ronda here, amature Haskell sleuth. Would have to see the back for sure, but I would have to say although it's very lovely (!!!) no, not Haskell. May be Japan. The components don't look like the quality of Haskell. If the back is filigree, then for sure no since almost no filigree without Haskell sig was made (from Cathy's book).

Caveat: I could be wrong of course.

Cheers!!!!!

Thanks so much ladies!

Helen, thanks for posting it to that group, I'll have to check it out when I have the time  Smiley  We'll see what they have to say...

Ronda, thanks for sharing your info on this piece and yes- it has a filigree back to it, so probably not a Haskell piece.  What would it sell for you think?

Hugs,
